The World’s biggest AR activation, that went from experience to campaign

With the world cup being held in the MENA region for the first time, Adidas wanted a ground breaking way to help a new generation of fan connect to the World Cup, the brand and thier iconic ball.

With this this is mind we leaned into the fact that this was billed as a true giant of the sports last game : Messi. And as such we brought him to the region as a giant that anyone could experience through web AR.

 
 

We had a giant match balls on the groudn trhoughout the MENA region.

 
 

We ahad an AR and LED live synced display on the world’s biggest building and biggeest screen.

 

We added a QR code to the TVC going across the region so people could bring it into their home.
